Nancy Ridout, Operations Manager
Nancy started with Ruan Securities in 1989 and is responsible for operational efforts of the firm's business, including trading and client account maintenance. Nancy attended Iowa State University and graduated with a BS Degree.

Gregory Tucker, Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales
Greg is experienced in municipal bond marketing and trading and leads the firm's secondary market activity. He began his career in 1971 and has previously been associated with Bankers Trust Company of Des Moines, and A.F. Stepp Investments, Inc.

Mike Trafton, Vice President, Institutional Sales
Mike is an experienced institutional securities salesman with in-depth knowledge of the U.S. Government and Corporate fixed income markets. He is a graduate of Drake University and began his career in 1975. He has previously been associated with Norwest Corporation and U.S. Bank Corporation.

Ben R. Young, Institutional Sales, Fixed Income
Ben is an investment representative with over eight years experience in the fixed income securities industry. With an in-depth knowledge of institutional portfolio management, asset liability and fixed income investments, he works with individuals, banks and other financial institutions. Ben received a bachelor of sciences in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in finance and business communication from Arizona State University. Ben started his career while in college by completing a summer internship with Midwest Capital Management in Kansas City, Missouri. He has previously been associated with DeWaay Capital Management in Clive, Iowa and Gold Capital Management in Overland Park, Kansas.

Joseph P. Wilson, Institutional Sales Registered Representative
Joe presently works as a licensed investment representative with clients including trusts, banks, and other financial institutions. He specializes in fixed income products such as: Municipal, Corporate, Government Agency, and Mortgage Backed securities. Joe started his financial career with Molitor Financial Group, LLC in Chicago, IL where he worked as a Mortgage Consultant networking with real estate brokers, lawyers and residential and commercial builders. In 2007 he moved to Des Moines, IA to join Wells Fargo Financial in a pilot program selling non-conforming and conforming mortgages to new and existing customers. Joe has a significant amount of experience dealing with cash flow analysis as well as various types of mortgage products. He holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 Securities licenses. Joe received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with concentrations in Management and Marketing from Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL in 2004, and an Associate of Arts from Southeastern Community College, Burlington, IA in 2002.

Clifton "Chip" Schultz, Senior Vice President, Managerof Public Finance
Chip is head of the Iowa Public Finance Group and is responsible for the overall daily management of the Ruan Securities division. His primary experience is in municipal financial advisory services and investment banking through the development of cash flow and feasibility models which analyze the financial impact of alternative revenue, expense and debt conditions on client cash flow. He also has worked extensively with clients to structure advance refundings, pooled financings, and multiple funding source bond issues. Chip has completed significant MBA coursework at the University of Iowa, has a B.A. degree from Luther College and was previously associated with Public Financial Management, Inc.

Gary Bauer, Senior Vice President, Public Finance
Gary began his career in 1981. He has experience as a bond lawyer and once served as the Executive Director of the North Dakota Municipal Bond Bank. His law degree is from the University of North Dakota and he has previously been associated with Kirkpatrick Pettis and Daugherty Dawkins. Gary has experience in several investment banking areas. He specialized in area college financings and rural economic development projects.
